I love strawberries, I would love to each more than I do, but they are expensive. But an increase of 30.4% for is ridiculous. I refuse to pay ¥780 for a pack of strawberries, even if they throw in an extra one for that price.

When I think of paprika, I think of the spice from grinding peppers. In Japanese, they use パプリカ in katakana to refer to red peppers and also yellow peppers. At my local supermarket, they are ¥98 each.

Eggs aren’t sold by the dozen in Japan.  A pack of 10 smaller eggs are a reasonable ¥128. Larger eggs are often sold in pack of eight.  They are ¥198 a pack at my local supermarket.
